Melissa: The song I’ve picked this week is “I Wear Glasses” by Mating Ritual. The song combines an upbeat, sunny feel with alternative rock undertones that you can vaguely dance to. If I were going somewhere warm this break I would listen to it on the beach. Instead, I will be in chilly Boston where I will more likely play a lot of John Mayer and burrow under a chunky blanket.

Sadie: My pick is “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)” because there is nothing better than classic Whitney Houston.

Zack Landau ’18: For a spring break party playlist, you can never go wrong with Major Lazer. Their songs “Light it Up” and “Boom” are great for dance parties and the caribbean dance hall sound is perfect for spring break. Also, remixes of throwback songs are always pleasers at a party. The Throttle remix of Earth Wind & Fire’s song “September” and the Nic Joseph remix of The Killers’ song “Mr. Brightside” are two of my favorites at the moment.
