The phrase “Fake news” was thrown all around the press conference.

Student government has called The Media “fake news” for failing to cover their budget meeting and committee updates on Monday. The Media has apologized and said they would cover the meeting.

Student government president Biggy Ghoe ’20 said she was infuriated when the press came out on Friday with few details of the meeting’s events.

“We worked without breaks for one whole hour to make sure that the student body has a voice against the administration,” said Ghoe, asking The Media to print that.

“The student body would not have any of the rights that they do now if it weren’t for us,” she continued, again asking The Media to make sure she has a public presence.

The Media did not respond for comment.
