Baseball (14-17) (12-13 Patriot League)
Head coach Tim Reilly’s first full season at the helm of the program saw the Leopards amass their best regular season winning percentage since the 2009 season, before bowing out in the semifinal round of the playoffs.
Men’s lacrosse (0-11) (0-8)
The team has not won a conference game since 2017, but head coach Pat Myers’s squad showed signs of improvement this spring – dropping five close games to nationally-ranked opponents in the highly-competitive Patriot League.
Golf
After giving back the President’s Cup to Lehigh, the team redeemed themselves with a third place finish in the Patriot League Championships, just one stroke off of second-place Navy.
Women’s lacrosse (0-6) (0-6)
A drastically shorter season left the team with a winless spring 2021, with the last conference win coming in 2019 after last year’s season was abruptly cut short. The team will miss the scoring punch provided by graduating senior Anna Stein, who scored nine goals and handed out five assists.
Men’s soccer (7-1) (7-1)
An undefeated spring season ended unceremoniously with a 2-1 loss in the conference championship game, the second straight year the team has fallen in the finals match. Fortunately, the team’s key seniors will stick around for the fall season using an extra year of NCAA eligibility.
Softball (1-21) (1-17)
The team suffered a dismal spring season with the lone win coming in early April over Colgate. The last time the softball program had a winning season was in 2008.
Women’s soccer (1-1-2) (1-1-2)
A late rash of cancellations limited the team to just four games this spring, but the playoffs were likely out of reach anyways.
Men’s tennis (2-8) (1-3)
The team struggled this spring with just one conference win over last place Holy Cross, who they beat again in the first round of the playoffs before being swept by top-seeded Navy.
Football (2-1) (2-1)
A three-game regular season is a small sample size, but the Leopards won the 156th Rivalry Game over Lehigh to go out on a high note.
Women’s tennis (4-7) (1-4)
Similar to the men’s team, the women’s program was handed an early exit from the playoffs after a poor regular season. The team beat hapless Holy Cross twice but were swept out of the quarterfinal round by top-seeded Boston University.
Swimming & diving
An unusual spring season saw the cancellation of the conference championships, leaving the Leopards with a dual meet against Lehigh to close out the year. The team went out in style, setting numerous pool and school records.
Track & field
The spring season was characterized by a depleted roster and standout individual performances after a number of athletes were kicked off campus for alleged COVID-19 violations in January.
