During Porchfest this past Sunday, a variety of different musicians performed on the porches of buildings around College Hill.

Most students have seen musical performances in theaters and concert halls. This past Sunday, they had the opportunity to view them on porches surrounding campus.

During the appropriately named Porchfest, which took place on the porches of over 20 buildings on College Hill between 1 and 5 p.m., about 150 artists performed at locations such as McKelvy House, High Street Plaza and College Hill Presbyterian Church.

During these intimate performances, audiences pulled up chairs onto lawns to watch. Performances included a wide variety of musical genres and styles, including folk, rock, indie, and even bagpipes.

She learned photography and editing from her dad who, throughout her childhood, became a self taught photographer. In addition, Caroline is also on student government, an Orientation Leader, and is the president of the club ski and snowboard team!
