Student Government’s first general body meeting of 2026 was held over Zoom on Jan. 15. The meeting — the first under President Allie Waxman ‘28 and her relatively green executive board — served as an orientation for new members. There were no votes other than that for budget.

Committee chair elections were slated for Thursday, according to Waxman.

Budgets were deliberated and approved in secret. Of the $581,548.44 requested, $306,618.89 was allocated. Student Government did not say where the money went.

Reps. Ryan Burns ‘27, Matthew Epp ‘27 and Chloe Miller ‘28 were absent from the meeting. All were excused.
