Men’s Soccer (3-2-3)
W, 2-1- Lafayette at Buffalo
Senior Nate Arronson and junior Ryan Egan scored their first goals of the season off of a pair of assists by senior Todd Forrester. Forrester leads the team with three assists on the season. Buffalo took 14 shots, but only challenged sophomore goaltender Brad Seeber four times.
L, 1-0- Lafayette vs. Albany
Despite Lafayette outshooting their opponents 11-8, an interception in the 55th minute by Albany led to an upper post goal past Seeber’s reach.
Field Hockey (5-3) (0-1)
L, 3-1- Lafayette at Boston University
Dropping their second loss of the season, and their first in Patriot League play, Lafayette was held to seven total shots (four on goal) against their 17th ranked opponent. Junior Amanda Magadan led Lafayette’s offense with a goal in the 58th minute of play to bring her season tally to five.
L, 8-0- Lafayette at UConn
Lafayette became the 20th straight team to be defeated by UConn since 2014. The away team was held to a single shot, in comparison to 27 for UConn.
Women’s Soccer (5-2-0) (0-1-0)
L, 2-1 (OT)- Lafayette vs. Loyola Maryland
Junior Kaelin King had Lafayette’s only goal in their Patriot League opener. The Greyhounds capitalized on the only overtime shot for either team.
Volleyball (9-3) (1-0)
W, 3-1 Lafayette vs. St. Francis Brooklyn @ Lafayette Invitational
Lafayette started their own tournament on a high note, taking the Terriers in four sets. Senior Brianne Giangiobbe led the team with 13 kills and junior Jet Manzi provided three aces.
W, 3-0 Lafayette vs. NJIT @ Lafayette Invitational
The Leopards dropped NJIT in straight sets, winning 25-20, 25-11 and 25-14. Sophomore Tori Smith and senior Lauren Pisaro combined for 23 of Lafayette’s 49 digs.
W, 3-2 Lafayette vs. Rider @ Lafayette Invitational
Lafayette stayed unbeaten at home, coming from behind to beat the Broncs and secure the tournament sweep. Giangiobbe had 35 kills in the win.
W, 3-0 Lafayette @ Lehigh
Taking down the Mountain Hawks in straight sets, Lafayette secured the team’s first win against Lehigh since 2009. Manzi had three aces on the night and 28 on the season.

September 19- Lafayette vs. Princeton
L, 40-7
The Leopards avoided their first shutout in 20 years with a late touchdown pass from junior QB Drew Reed to sophomore TB Rajhan Meriwether.
Cross Country
The men’s and women’s teams lost to rival Lehigh. Senior Stephanie Benko finished second and was the only Leopard in the top 10 finishers for the women.
