Underlying the timeless back-to-school cheer at Lehigh University this fall, there is a tone of sadness. Just days before classes for the fall semester began, 19-year-old Lehigh student Hanlon MacDonald ‘15 was found unresponsive in her off-campus apartment. She was a bio-engineering major and a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She is remembered by friends and neighbors as talented, nice, and an excellent student, and is survived by her parents and brother.
We at The Lafayette would like to extend our condolences to the MacDonald family and the Lehigh community.
