Dear Lafayette community,
It is with great pride that I step into my final year as editor-in-chief of The Lafayette. And it seems like it’s already kicked off with a busy start. But with our well-rounded and experienced staff at the paper, I’m confident we will only keep improving.
Last year, we worked tirelessly to bring you stories about Posse, political action on campus, student government, crime, features on events and updates on the college’s sports teams. This year will be no different. With our new effort to increase our online presence and our drive to bring you the news timely and accurately, the paper will only improve its coverage.
In addition, we plan to continue our efforts to strive for financial independence. As the oldest college newspaper in Pennsylvania, we work hard to produce quality content and design, and to report the news with brevity and integrity.
As always, if anyone has any recommendations on how to improve the paper or suggestions for story ideas, our door is open.
I look forward to another great year.
Sincerely,
William W. Gordon
