Sadie’s Pick: My pick for the week is “Baby Blue” by the Chocolate Watchband. It’s a cover of “It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue,” and embellishes the Dylan original with some groovy, albeit desperate, Stones-esque whining. This cover is for you if you’re like me and feel like this is the beginning of the end.
Melissa’s Pick: My pick this week is “Talkin’ Bout a Revolution” by Tracy Chapman. If you’re as bummed as I am about what’s going on in the news lately, Chapman’s cool tune will lift you up a little and remind you how individuals can collectivize and change bad circumstances. This is the kind of song you want playing on a sunny day while you’re driving down a highway. It’s a feel good jam, and we could all use one of those.
