Dear readers,
Last week was my final week at Lafayette for this semester. I have decided to take a leave of absence for personal reasons. It is a decision that I had been coming to for a long time, and I concluded last week that it was time for me to take some time off.
William Gordon ’17, the former News Editor, will be taking my place as Editor-in-chief. Filling in his former position will be Ian Morse ’17, a reporter who has been writing for the news section for a long time. I am more than confident in their abilities to take on these new jobs, and I’m excited to see what they and the rest of the staff do in the next coming months.
To those whom I didn’t get to say goodbye to, I wish you all the very best for the rest of your semesters. I don’t know if and when I’ll be returning to Lafayette, but I hope to see all those whose lives touched me over the past two years soon. It has been a pleasure to know you, and it has been a wonderful experience to serve on this newspaper during my time at the college.
Sincerely,
Matt Mitterhoff ’16
Former Editor-in-chief of The Lafayette
