With spring comes with a fresh perspective on food. Smoothies are a delicious in-season way to start your morning. Don’t be fooled by its green color – this simple banana, peanut butter, and spinach smoothie is tasty and vitamin packed. It’s a guilt-free treat that is sure to keep you full!
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
1 ½ cup of spinach
Toss ingredients in a blender, and voila: a refreshing and healthy spring drink.
Extra: add flax or chia seed for extra protein and anti-oxidants. Experiment with different fruits and vegetables!
