Men’s Soccer (1-0-1, 0-0)

August 28 – Lafayette vs. Pittsburgh

T, 0-0 (2OT)
Sophomore Brad Seeber saw all 110 minutes of action and had four stops in goal for the Leopards.  Juniors Ryan Eagan and Ben Marks each had a pair of shots on goal.

September 1 – Lafayette vs. Fairleigh Dickinson

W, 3-0

Senior Todd Forrester scored his first career goal on the day and added an assist.  Freshmen Josh Kruczek and Grant Burg each netted a goal.  Junior Ben Marks had two assists.

Field Hockey (2-0, 0-0)

August 30 – Lafayette vs. Ball State

W, 3-2

A pair of seniors, Paige Macrae and Hannah Millen, each scored a goal for the Leopards.  Also scoring was Junior Amanda Magadan.  Junior Katelyn Arnold had four stops in goal.

September 1 – Lafayette vs. Siena

W, 9-1

The Leopards trounced the Saints behind senior Katie Birle’s hat trick.  Six different Lafayette players scored, including freshman Kristen Taylor with two goals and junior Amanda Magadan with a goal and two assists.

Women’s Soccer (2-0-0, 0-0)

August 21 – Lafayette at Delaware State

W, 1-0

Junior Melissa Lynskey netted the only goal of the day for either team in the 86th minute to seal a victory for the Leopards.  The Lafayette defense dominated allowing just one shot all day.

August 30 – Lafayette vs. St. Peters

W, 5-0

Junior Melissa Lynskey had a hat trick on the day on five shots on goal.  Senior Anna Wissler added two goals and an assist.  For the second straight game, the defense shined for the Leopards; the team allowed just two shots on goal.  The offense produced 11 shots on goal.

Volleyball (0-1, 0-0)

September 1 – Lafayette at La Salle

L, 3-0

The first set just got away from the Leopards, losing 29-27.  They lost the second and third sets each by a score of 25-13.  Junior Jet Manzi led the way with seven kills and senior Brianne Giangiobbe had six kills.  Senior Lauren Pisauro led the team with 15 digs.
