To the Editor of the Lafayette,

I received a Halloween goody bag outside my office door on Monday.  It was a thoughtful surprise and I’d love to thank the students or group that sought to spread some smiles. But there was no ascription to it and so I do not know who to thank.  One student in another class indicated they thought it was the Happiness Project, but was unsure. Whether an individual gesture or a concerted effort, it was a kind thing to do. This letter simply comes to accord them my thanks and to let those responsible know the gesture was appreciated.
